Site Map

*^* Powered Sites:

Our powered sites are large, and grassy sites in a parkland setting, with beautiful large trees (some shady, some sunny) and are much like our unpowered sites. The powered sites and unpowered sites are mixed in together, and other than the Powered sites have electricity supplied to them, you can't tell them apart.

Not included: No potable water to the sites (there is a centralised treated drinking water tap for filling water bottles).

Not included: There are no concrete pads (our sites are all grassy sites)

Not included: There is no sullage at the sites. Gray water is ok to put on the ground which it readily soaks into.

Not included: We do not have a dump point for toilet waste (there is one in Ararat and Stawell - each 30 minutes drive away).

*^Minimum Bookings:

At the busiest holiday times of the year, long weekends, Christmas to New Year and early January, and the Victorian Spring School holidays we have "Minimum Fees" for many of our sites and onsite caravans.

What are "Minimum Fees"? Our minimum booking fee represents the lowest amount you can spend to secure a particular site or onsite caravan. A Minimum Fee only affects the total where the Total Site Fee*^* (including extra people and vehicles) by the number of nights is less than the set Minimum Fee on a particular site.
*^*The Total Site Fee does not include products (eg. firewood) or hire items (eg. portable fire places) or Early Check In, Late Check In or Late Departure Fee.

On request we can email you an information pack which shows you the Minimum Fee for each site and onsite caravan, site sizes, the maximum number of people and other useful information.

Christmas- New Year Period (21 Dec 2018 - 7 Jan 2019):A unique minimum price is set for each site and onsite caravan between the 24 December and 3rd January 2017.

We also have a number of portable fireplaces that can be hired for $10.00 per night. If you are planning to bring your own fire bowl, urn or other please contact us to make sure it meets our requirements. They must have a solid ashtray 10cm above the ground.

While we can usually help you get things set up so that your fire place will not damage the grass underneath (ash trays available for $5.00 per night) we reserve the right to not allow the use of your fire place.

Campfires winter and spring only. (No fires during Summer Fire Season).
Fire wood (with kindling and paper) can be purchased at the campground for $28:00 per builders wheelbarrow load, or $22.00 for a two thirds sized load and $18.00 for a half wheelbarrow load. Fire wood comes supplied with paper and kindling.
